Brothers Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem seemingly had two jobs for the longest time. During the day, they were just normal guys working at utility companies and, well, at NASA - okay, not exactly normal. At night, they transformed into creatives, building their own label Carpet Company through YouTube tutorials and a skate brand that wasn't really a skate brand. It was and is a wonderfully imperfect process, inspired by their Egyptian heritage and the desire to avoid the predictable. They didn't really expect it to be successful.

"We didn't come from the industry. We didn't know anyone, and we had no design background," says Ayman. "We are, for the most part, extremely small, but we are 1,000 times bigger than I ever imagined." Baltimore remains the stronghold of the brand, where the brothers run the business in a converted factory. Here, they screen print boards and clothing with very special details. Their guest boards have become an iconic part of the brand identity, including Eric Koston, Jerry Hsu, Brian Anderson, and Atiba Jefferson, to name just a few!
