Field Notes "Birch Bark" 3-pack notebook
The 60th quarterly limited edition for fall 2023 was called "Birchbark." It is as simple, elegant and simple as the tree that gives it its name. The genus Betula is known for its white, papery bark, here brought about by mottled 110# Mohawk Loop "Snow" cover material embossed with hints of warm gray.
The bright green birch leaves turn bright yellow in autumn. When the leaves are gone in winter and there is snow on the ground, a stand of birch trees becomes colorless and is a perfect subject for dreamy black and white photos. These three seasonal phases are reflected in the green, yellow and black staples of the books in each 3-pack, as well as the graphic colors of the 60# Finch Opaque body paper.
