Hockey Skateboards is Fucking Awesome's sister company, but has long since emancipated itself from its big brother and stands for the pure essence of skateboarding. Teamrider John Fitzgerald looks like a Vietnam veteran who is holding up the Stars & Stripes flag in times of commercial skateboarding.
When you think of hockey, you probably think of the sport of ice, known for its rough and rough game. Perhaps you are also thinking of the harsh Canadian winters. Perhaps the most vivid image that comes to mind is the goalie's mask, a testament to how brutal the game can be.
Because there's too much talent at Fucking Awesome, Dill and AVE decided the best way to do justice to the brutal skateboarding styles of John Fitzgerald and Donovon Piscopo is to give them the space they need to express themselves to do her thing.
