Imagine being able to design your own skateboard shoes. For Stefan Janoski, this situation was reality – and he knew exactly what he wanted. First came a vulcanized construction for a flexible, broken-in feel. He then added a suede upper and a skate-specific profile to provide more control and feel to the board to make learning new tricks and styles a breeze. The durable suede upper breaks in easily and prevents blowouts. Vulcanized construction uses heat to fuse the outsole to the upper. This gives the shoe a flexible, worn-in feel right from the start. The flat rubber outsole offers more grip and lasting traction.
