The Star of the East.
The Slovak brand Novesta produces shoes made from purely natural materials with the distinctive feature of the vulcanization line between the sole and fabric.
The Novesta brand began in 1939 by the famous shoemaker Jan Antonín Baťa, who opened his first factory in Partizánske in Slovakia. From the start, Baťa focused on unique designs that incorporate the ecological aspect. That is why only environmentally friendly materials are used for genuine Novestas, such as natural rubber, 100% cotton & linen.
The Star Master.
In the Star Master, the company's most popular model, the rubber sole is pressed using a high-pressure device, leaving a line that has become Novesta's trademark. This special manufacturing process combined with precise craftsmanship highlights the company's ecological philosophy.
