Inspired by the rich history of technical innovations in running, KARHU is proud to introduce a brand new silhouette from the archives of 2016 into the lifestyle collection. The KARHU Super Fulcrum is a modern retro sneaker based on an earlier prototype with a similar name, the Super Fast. Although the Super Fast never made it to market, the design team liked the concept of a shoe with maximum cushioning and special guidance features for support and efficiency. The brand new Super Fulcrum combines the novel midsole technology of the Super Fast with a newly designed upper, creating a truly unique statement sneaker that fits into any collection.

The KARHU Super Fulcrum was created through progressive interpretations of
Fit, form, and function brought to life. In harmony with a modern running collection, the design of the Super Fulcrum conveys a sense of forward movement and features a continuous Fulcrum chassis in the midsole that inspired the name. The Fulcrum technology from KARHU works like a cradle, efficiently guiding the foot through the gait cycle, reducing pressure on the heel, and utilizing the body's natural energy to enable a smooth roll-off.

The Super Fulcrum also features our unique "Finnish Line" guiding technology in the upper material, a supportive band that wraps around the foot and provides additional stability. The rest of the upper material
consists of dimensional mesh with synthetic overlays to provide excellent wearing comfort and breathability.

"Underfoot, the outsole of the Super Fulcrum features a modern version of KARHU's signature T-profile stud pattern, another design element that originates from earlier silhouettes like the Synchron Classic."
